What was broken: The contest had a nice bug where after selecting split mode it would change to top winner. A few days later, the board decided to change the win mode and not pay anyone... as the lindens say problem is now ( resolved).

Best PG Line: " Sleep is rl lag"

Best R-rated Line( children/ child avs look away): Something about " Irish fresh spunk"

Best song: Milkshake-Calvary kids played by DJ Chilly

Weirdest person: A noob who I couldn't tell if she was really short or a child avatar. Want to make people think you are strange? Walk around aimlessly and don't say hello even if they welcome you.

Biggest stress : A DJ ( Brandon Kessel) lying about having stream problems so he could skip out of work. He finally admit he wanted time with his mate and has yet to pay the club back the L for the shift he didn't do.

Best moment: DJ Chilly bitching about me requesting " Jessy's girl" on mic. " Sisters can be annoying..."

Crazy thing I did: Lol, showing up as two of my alts and doing a line dance with them...

" Don't shit on the Linden" " Get naked for Obama"

Well, it has been a nutty and fun few days for me in Second life...

This weekend was dedicated to doing a bit of exploring with my bf, Ipenda (aka cents/tail). Saturday, it was off to cinemax island. Nothing much going on here except a huge empty movie theatre in middle of the sim ( not even a skinmax show). Still, I'm sure the theater is awesome when there is a movie. We did manage to find a nice sitting area to chill at while Ipenda played with rendering costs...
Later, that day we took ride though the tunnel of love er..the tunnel of Light ( pictured above). It was a fun six minute ride with a glorious light show...



Yet, exploring wasn't nearly as exciting as Teagan Linden showing up at Misfits. This was especially amusing since the old Misfits motto was " F**ck SL and Suck it Lindens." Luckily, the other owner Lesil wasn't there because she is addicted to using a tool where she can shit of people. I would have spent the whole night in ims, " Lesil, Please don't shit on the Linden. You're get banned." Unfortunately, Teagan was an awesome guest because it almost killed my hatred of the powers that be... Almost...

The only thing that could top a Linden at Misfits was Obama becoming the presumptive dem. nominee and an Obama nut owner ( me, of course) throwing a random Obama  party. So  " fired up" over Obama's victory, I gave a 1000L for the neko party's contest board. A few Obama Misfits party hardcore with Obama flags waving and wearing Obama fired up shirts ( made by my Cents.) My McCain  supporting British friend was there dressed up ( in his words) as Obama. " His Obama" was him wearing a white and black  ghetto outfit ( twat). He was told by me that he looked more like a gay retard Vanilla-hammer ice...

 Along with quoting Obama slogans all night, "The notices are practicing the politics of the past by not going through." There were also a  few " Woo get naked" gestures followed by comments like " Get naked for Obama."

Second Life on MTV

Shockingly I found out about this video from my sister. This is from an episode of Mtv's True life ; three girls used  Internet lives to deal with real life phobias. One girl, Keiko, is a famous Rockstar in Second Life but stage fright keeps her from performing on a real life stage...

Wooohoo! I found another way to avoid shopping inworld...Inworld shopping is just a pain in a** with laggy shops and posters that take forever to rezz. Thank goddess for slexhange.com and now I stumbled upon onrez (http://shop.onrez.com) so I'm a happy resident! (despite today's login failures.lol)

Doing what we do best at Misfits: Dirty contests. Tonight, I will be Djing Best in slutty followed by Neko nite with Dj Amorrose and my tail/ host Ipenda at 10pm.

Second Life Just got to love it!

Second Life Just got to love it! Yesterday due to my home sim being missing I ended up in Bear on login. Not too bad if I wasn't naked ( warning: never log off nakey). Luckily , I crashed and was ruthed so no one saw my good shape. Then, I enjoyed login failures until Sl was closed for an emergency ( aka run before you lose your hair, skirts, Linden and virtual mind)... sometimes it is really clear that the appeal of second life is only good friends and good laughs!! ( sorry no pic of my running around bear naked surrounded by newbies)

Introducing a SL Misfit

It has now been eight months inworld for me. Yet, with all I have experienced and all the friends I have gained and lost I feel like a three year old avatar. Unlike most of my friends, I didn't hop over to second life from another game or have some cool reason for trying second life out. I was hearing a lot about virtual reality games on tv and one day I was bored... and so starts my virtual life. I didn't have any goals or expectations when I first landed in avatar island. To be honest, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I didn't expect to become addicted ( and I did quickly), I didn't plan on dating ( in fact I thought that it was kinda of lame) or experiencing real love towards my sl friends and family. Yet, eight months into what I thought was a game, I have had too many jobs, had my heart broken, had my heart pleasantly stolen, started my own club with lesil, had plenty of drama and found the very best friends that I could ever have. What have I learned?
Only this...there are really two types of second life avatars: the hobby players and Lifers. There are the ones who visit our world went they are bored or restless, who might spend hours upon hours inworld one month and then disppear suddenly when real life becomes more interesting. Then they are the rest of us, who despite how busy our real lives get or how much second life drama comes around " live" in second life. The ones who "live" inworld keep coming back not due to boredom but because our best friends, our lovers, our family are there. We are the residents who spend xmas with their sl friends and who fall in love with other avatars ( and not just second life love but real love). As someone once told me when I was planning on leaving second life ( we all say that)," Just like with real life you got to take the good with the bad, because this is your LIFE."
